Harry Styles says he is open to One Direction reuniting: 'Never say never'
Harry Styles has spoken about a potential One Direction reunion, stating that he wouldn’t rule out bringing the band back together in the future.
The singer was a guest on The Late Late Show on April 27, the final episode hosted by James Corden.
In the run up to Harry’s appearance on the show, it had been suggested by fans on social media that the band might be reuniting to perform on the episode. Harry, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan haven’t performed together since 2016.
Fans of the boyband were quick to point out that all members of the group had gaps in their schedules at the time of the episode.
However, the CBS chat show were quick to shut down the rumours, writing the following statement on Twitter: “Nobody loves the boys more than us… but this story just isn’t true. What is true is we’ve got an absolutely brilliant two-hour finale planned to celebrate eight years of #LateLateShow at 10pm on April 27th.”

He said: “I feel it’s not a yes or no question. I would never say never to that. If there was a time where we all felt like that was what we wanted to do, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”
“I take that as a yes!” James replied.
Harry paid tribute to the host, stating that he was “very proud of everything you’ve done” and calling him an “inspiration”.
He continued: “Selfishly, I’m very happy that you’re coming home, I love you so much.”
As the show came to a close, Corden signed off his eight-year stint as presenter with the following message: “And I guess all I really want to say tonight is, I implore you to remember what America signifies to the rest of the world. My entire life, it has always been a place of optimism and joy, and yes it has flaws – so many. But show me a country that doesn’t.”
Corden is now set to make his return home to the UK.
