The second day of the Arnold Clark Cup is done and dusted with plenty of action to satiate the most robust of women’s football appetites.

The ACC reigning champions England continued their remarkable unbeaten run in typical cool fashion as Rachel Daly’s brace fired the Lionesses into a 2-1 win over a laboured looking Italy.

And Sarina Wiegman 's side maintained their thrilling rhythm against another side content with defending deep to offset their attacking powers.

A draw with Belgium on Wednesday is all that’s required for the Lionesses to retain their title in the second iteration of the inaugural tournament.

Meanwhile, Belgium rallied in a comeback victory over Korea Republic, who were backed by a strong contingent of fans at the CBS Arena in Coventry. They were given plenty to cheer about as Geum-min Lee opened the scoring 10 minutes after the opening whistle.

Nevertheless, Belgium’s Tessa Wullaert secured the equaliser just before half-time and Tine De Caigny grabbed the winner 20 minutes from time to see the Red Flames emerge victorious in Coventry. Both teams fashioned manifold chances to make for an end-to-end affair, though finesse in the final third evaded them.

Now, it's time to vote for your player of the day from six nominees across all the teams.

The Korean Republic fans have earned themselves a berth in the POTD poll, as have Ji So-yun and J M Kim of Korea Republic.

Meanwhile, goalscorer Tessa Wullaert, who grabbed her second goal of the round-robin tournament and 71st in a Belgium shirt, is named alongside England’s Daly and Katie Robinson, with the pair’s superb combination opening the scoring against Italy.

From the opening day poll, England's Lauren James seized the majority of votes with 75% after her tenacious display against Korea Republic, which saw the Chelsea player break down a stodgy Korean defence and earn a penalty to open the scoring before capping off the performance with England's fourth goal of the evening.

The remaining 25% of the vote went to Lioness Georgia Stanway, who converted the penalty won by James five minutes before half-time.

You can vote for the POTD from Sunday using the poll below.
