Lindsay Lohan's dad blasts Mean Girls reboot for 'disgusting' joke about her
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan has hit out at the new Mean Girls movie for a derogatory line used to reference his daughter.
The Hollywood dad has been left "p****d" over the "disgusting comment" which saw Tina Fey and Megan Thee Stallion seemingly making a jibe at Lindsay who made the original Mean Girls movie a huge hit at the time of its release and for generations to come. However, Michael has found comfort in the fact that the remake has performed nowhere near as well as the original in its opening weekend at the Box Office.
Michael's fury has been sparked by the line Megan says where she exclaims " fire crotch is back." The comment refers to a TMZ video from 2006 which saw Paris Hilton's friend and oil heir Brandon Davis call Lindsay "fire crotch" several times on camera. The new musical version of the movie took just $28 million at the box office opening weekend.

In comparison Lindsay's version of Mean Girls - which opened in 2004 - took $24.4million which is a lower sum but with the adjustment for inflation is actually a much higher sum of $40million (£31.7million). Plus it also grossed a domestic total of $24.4million (£19.3million) during its cinematic run.
Woman tells of losing 29 kilos and becoming a bodybuilder in her 60sMichael confided his thoughts about the remake and its stars in TMZ as he told them he will never watch the new Mean Girls and that he would refrain from hitting back at Megan, Brandon and Tina directly. But he did go on to take a swipe at Megan telling TMZ: "I will say this however, NOBODY can replace Lindsay or the original cast in that film. Nor can Megan replace Lindsay in the new Planet Fitness commercial dressed like a stripper in a fitness commercial."
Lindsay meanwhile was reportedly overheard saying she was "surprised and taken aback" by the new instalment's reference to Brandon's scathing comment made while he was slamming the star in a damning video interview with TMZ all those years ago.
"Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film," the star's representative told The Messenger after last week's premiere in New York, USA. It was the initial comment that sparked a rift between Lindsay and Paris Hilton, a pal of Brandon who was seen laughing along to his rant in the archived TMZ clip. It comes after the Mean Girls revival led to a star-packed premiere where Lindsay and co-star Tina Fey reunited on January 8.
