Xbox Game Pass gets one of the best PlayStation exclusives of 2022
Xbox Game Pass subscribers are getting two new releases on the service today. Including one of 2022's most underrated games – Rollerdrome.
The entirety of the Xbox Game Pass November 2023 games lineup is out now, with the final two releases of the month rolling out today. One of which is Rollerdrome from OlliOlli developer Roll7, which plays like a blend of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Doom. In this game you play as a competitor in the Rollerdrome tournament – a deadly gauntlet which blends roller skating with third person shooting. The game originally released last year on PC and as a console exclusive on PS4 and PS5, but it's finally coming to Xbox Series X|S today (sorry Xbox One, you're out of luck). And not only that, but it's arriving straight onto Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud.
While the Rollerdrome received critical acclaim, it ended up flying under the radar amid bigger releases last year, so hopefully this stint on Xbox Game Pass will give the overlooked title a second wind. If the aforementioned blend of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Doom wasn't enough to pique your interest, maybe the fact that it looks gorgeous will, thanks to it's pulpy 1970's aesthetic.
Speaking of games that released on PC, and are now debuting on Xbox Game Pass on console, Dune: Spice Wars is also arriving today. It's been available on Xbox Game Pass for PC users for a few months now, but now cloud and console players can get in on the action with this real-time strategy adaptation of Frank Herbert's iconic Dune universe.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass November 2023
As a final reminder the following titles will be leaving the service later this week on Thursday, November 30:
FIFA 23 Title Update 7 fixes annoying FUT transfer market error improves corners- Anvil
- Battlefield 1943
- Battlefield: Bad Company
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2
- Disc Room
- Eastward
- Grid
As always you can pick all of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass at a discount of at least 20% before they leave the service. Battlefield 1943, Bad Company, and Bad Company 2's servers are all set to go down next week on December 8, 2023. The Bad Company titles have campaign modes to enjoy, but 1943 is an online-focused game, so it's probably best to avoid buying that one (which is sad to say because it's a great one).
