Ubisoft has released its Ubisoft Plus subscription on Xbox platforms, in an attempt to co-exist with Xbox Game Pass

Ubisoft Plus was launched back in 2019 on PC, expanding to cloud services like Amazon Luna and the dearly departed Google Stadia. PS Plus Extra and Premium got the scaled back version – Ubisoft Plus Classics – in 2022, and now the full version of Ubisoft Plus is available on Xbox consoles and promises to bring a growing library of Ubisoft titles to the system including the latest Ubisoft games on day one.

Ubisoft Plus is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as a part of the Ubisoft Plus Multi Access, which also grants players access to the service on PC and Amazon Luna (not Google Stadia though, R.I.P). The service is already available on Xbox alongside the surprise announcement.

Is Ubisoft Plus included in Xbox Game Pass?

Sadly, Ubisoft Plus is not included in Xbox Game Pass, which is a shame considering EA's subscription service – EA Play – is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. Players looking to take advantage of Ubisoft Plus will have to pay for a separate subscription to get access to the service.

However, some Ubisoft titles are already available on Xbox Game Pass such as Assassins Creed Origins and For Honor, so there's a chance there will be more of them on the way; just not on day one like they are on Ubisoft Plus.

How much is Ubisoft Plus?

Currently Ubisoft Plus subscriptions come in two tiers: Ubisoft Plus PC Access and Ubisoft Plus Multi Access. As the names imply, Ubisoft Plus PC Access gives you access to the service on PC only, so if you want access to the service on Xbox (or Amazon Luna) you'll need to pay for the more expensive Ubisoft Plus Multi Access tier.

Ubisoft Plus PC Access is priced at £12.99 / $14.99 / AU$19.95 per month, whereas Ubisoft Plus Multi Access, including Xbox and Amazon Luna, will run you £14.99 / $17.99 / AU$23.95 monthly.

Which games are included in Ubisoft Plus on Xbox?
