Logan Paul finally admits he didn't beat Floyd Mayweather in exhibition fight

Logan Paul has given an honest assessment of his exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather two years on by admitting he didn't win.

YouTube boxer Paul took on former five-weight world champion Mayweather in June 2021 as the pair met over eight three-minute rounds at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. The un-scored fight went the distance as Paul landed just 28 punches in the fight despite throwing over 200, but the YouTuber still did better than Mayweather expected him to.

Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis recently quizzed Paul about how the fight went ahead of their grudge match on the Misfits Boxing 'Prime Card' in Manchester next month. Paul admitted he didn't win by saying: "No, I don't think I beat Floyd." Danis responded by saying Paul's performance is less impressive given the result of Mayweather's latest exhibition fights.

"You can't even brag about it now, he's lasted like 12 rounds with everybody. He went eight rounds with Aaron Chalmers from Geordie Shore and didn't even get hit. Deji gave him a black eye and you didn't even hit him. You hit a 150lb guy and didn't even rock him," Danis said. Paul fired back by responding: "What film have you been watching?"

Danis admitted to not watching the full fight by saying: "I didn't actually watch it, I just saw some highlights." Paul hasn't fought since going the distance with Mayweather as he suffered a "career-ending injury" later that year when he broke his hand on a boxing punch machine whilst in Germany.

Danis is making his boxing debut against Paul and returning to combat sports for the first time in over four years. Frequent knee injuries has kept the multiple-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion on the sidelines but he is hopeful of making a Bellator return after fighting Paul, with the rivals even agreeing on an MMA rematch after their boxing fight.

"Dillon, check this out," Paul said during their face-to-face interview. "You're obviously a s***bag, you're obviously a piece of s***, but I'll tell you what. If you show up to this fight October 14, I will rematch you in MMA." The pair immediately shook hands, before Paul continued to attack his rival by calling him a "scumbag, piece of s*** dirty f***ing a******."
