Angus Cloud's cause of death is yet to be confirmed, but it has been reported the Euphoria star didn't pen a suicide note before he died at the age of 25.

The rising star, who was best known for his role as Fezco on TV drama series Euphoria alongside Zendaya, died at his family home in Oakland, California last month. His death came just days after the funeral of his father, but it's thought Angus' death was from an accidental overdose.

There was speculation surrounding the tragedy, with his family's statement at the time seemingly suggesting he died by suicide. The emotional statement read: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."

It went on to add that Angus had been open about his mental health issues and it said it is hoped his passing can be "a reminder to others that they are not alone". His family toldTMZ at the time they hoped Angus would be remembered for his humour, laughter and love for everyone, before they asked for privacy to help them process their devastating loss.

A source close to the star had also told the publication how Angus had had severe suicidal thoughts after his dad's death. But a number of law enforcement sources have told the outlet there was no note left behind before the actor's sudden death, seemingly pointing toward an accidental overdose as the cause of death.

The theory was first suggested by his mother Lisa who denied her son had died by suicide a few days after his death. In a statement, she said her son had been talking about the future and helping family members out as well as reorganising his room the day before he died.

Her statement continued: "I don't know if or what he may have put in his body after that. I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art project's, fell asleep and didn't wake up. We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it's abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world."

Following the news of his death, fans and famous faces were quick to share their grief on social media to social media to share their grief and offer messages of condolence. Among there was rapper Drake, who serves as executive producer on Euphoria. He shared a picture of Angus on his Instagram story, captioning it "Good soul", alongside a sad face emoji and a white dove.

Angus took on the role of Fezco between 2019 and 2022. He had also appeared on movies such as The Line and North Hollywood, while other noticeable credits came in music videos for the likes of Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRLD. It's thought he had two other projects which were set to come out in the near future.
