PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be finding out what games will be included in July's offering later this week, and here's which games we think could feature.

The PS Plus revamp that brought us the Extra and Premium tiers is officially in it's second year, with June 2023's Extra and Premium games being one of the strongest offerings in recent memory. We know that the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for July will be revealed on Wednesday but until then, we can make some educated guesses as to which PlayStation titles will show up.

Last year's PS Plus Extra and Premium July lineup included the surprise hit of 2022 Stray (which was recently announced for Xbox), as well as almost every Assassin's Creed title before the series rebooted itself with Assassins Creed Origins. Other titles in last years selection include Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Marvel's Avengers, and Saints Row 4: Re-Elected.

PS Plus July 2023 Extra and Premium predictions

While we won't know for sure until the PS Plus Extra and Premium PS4 and PS5 games for July are revealed, based on some of the game's we've seen added to the service over the past year, we can look towards Ubisoft and Square Enix for our predictions.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin launched last March and mixed Final Fantasy 1's world with the combat of the Nioh series. It received slightly mixed reviews at launch however, it's a solid title if you're willing to fully embrace how goofy the game is overall. If Square Enix wanted to continue the Final Fantasy 7 trend, there's always Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, although given that it only launched in December 2022 it may be a bit soon.

As for Ubisoft, there's always the chance that Assassin's Creed Valhalla could make an appearance and join the rest of the series on PS Plus. Valhalla was the last title in the series to release, so making it available for players before Assassin's Creed Mirage launches this October could be a good shout for Ubisoft.

Finally, considering we got some Saints Row in PS Plus last year, perhaps we could see the latest entry in the series (simply titled Saints Row). While the title was a massive let down according to reviews, getting it onto PS Plus could be the right way to bring in those players who were curious about it but put off after reviews came in. Regardless, we'll find out soon when the PS Plus Extra and Premium games are revealed on Wednesday.
