A host of celebrities will be seen auditioning to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest as part of a sketch for Comic Relief, which will air later this evening.

The fundraising initiative has returned to our screens tonight (March 17) and this year it features sketches revolving around shows like The Traitors and Love Island.

It also features a comedy sketch about Eurovision, with celebrities auditioning for commentator Graham Norton, 59, and former entrants Lulu, 74, and Sam Ryder, 33.

The "unseen auditions" on the show include a performance from chef Gordon Ramsay, 56, playing the recorder. The out-of-tune performance doesn't impress the judges.

The trio don't seem to want to offend Gordon though and Lulu even disappears, leaving Graham and Sam to deal with the fallout from the chef being turned down for Eurovision.

Graham nervously remarks: "We'll put you down as a maybe". Gordon is then shown snapping the instrument over his thigh before telling the judges: "F*** you".

Another scene shows Britain's Got Talent (BGT) judge Amanda Holden, 52, being called for her audition - only for her to take a seat alongside those on the judging panel instead.

Lulu asks: "What are you doing on this side? Aren't you auditioning?" Amanda responds: "God know. I don't audition. I judge. It'd be a little bit embarrassing if a TV judge started to audition. Who's up next?"

After she suggests that TV judges shouldn't audition, it's teased that former BGT judge David Walliams, 51, is up next to audition - with Amanda then seeming a bit awkward.

The sketch sees Amanda make a hasty exit following the news, with her commenting: "Oh, umm, d'you know what, I think I've left my car on a double yellow. I'll be right back".

Another audition sees Jamie Dornan, 40, communicate with the judges through cue cards - similar to the iconic scene in festive favourite Love Actually, released in 2003.

Graham says it's "wonderful" to see him, to which Jamie issues a similar sentiment back to him and Lulu. He teases that he isn't as bothered to audition for Sam though.

The actor says that he has lost his voice and is therefore unable to sing during the audition, which leaves Graham remarking: "Not ideal for a singing competition".

Comic Relief is on BBC One and BBC iPlayer tonight.
