Tina Malone's moving last photos with husband Paul Chase months before his death
Tina Malone was all smiles in heartbreaking last photographs of her last public sighting with husband Paul Chase.
The actress, 61, took to social media on Wednesday to announce that Paul had died earlier in the day at the age of 42. In an emotional post, the Shameless star told followers she was 'totally devastated' by the loss.
The couple had endured a rollercoaster romance - splitting after welcoming their only daughter Flame, before revealing they'd 'passionately reunited' some months later.
In the last pictures of them together, the pair seemed more loved-up than ever as they were spotted celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary. Former Brookside actress Tina could be seen embracing her younger husband outside of Liverpool's Mercure Hotel as they shared a tender moment.

Another image showed Tina and her late husband outside of the hotel as they struggled to contain their laughter while walking away from the entrance of the property. Later on, the actress was carried out of the entrance by Paul as they both appeared to be in high spirits.
Tina and Paul returned to the Liverpool City Centre hotel to celebrate their anniversary, 13 years after meeting one another at the establishment. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday evening, Tina who is best known for playing Mimi Maguire in Channel 4's Shameless and Mo McGee in Brookside, announced Paul's passing. She told her 22,800 followers: "It's with total heartbreak I write this my husband Paul Chase Malone passed away this morning we are totally devastated."

A second penned: "I'm so sorry for your loss Tina. I don’t know you or the man you clearly loved with all your heart, but my heart breaks for you as I can only imagine how truly devastating it would feel if the man I love with all my heart passed away as he inevitably will."
Tina and Paul married in 2010, three years before they welcomed their first child together, Flame Chase, in 2013, when Tina was 50. After nine years of marriage, the pair separated despite being together for 11 years. However, just months later, in February 2020, they announced that had reconciled with one another.

Speaking in a candid interview with Closer magazine a few years ago, Tina said she realised that the problems in her marriage stemmed from depression and recognising that it was better to 'pull together rather than fall apart' ended up saving her relationship with long-term love Paul.
Tina is best known for playing Mo McGee in soap opera Brookside and Mimi Maguire in comedy Shameless, both broadcast on Channel 4. She was also a housemate on the sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother in January 2009.
