'My girlfriend dumped me over my star sign - she says I'm a typical Aries'
A man has been left gobsmacked after his girlfriend dumped him over his "selfish" star sign. He explained how he is an Aries, born between March 21 and April 19, which, much to his surprise, proved to be a huge 'red flag' to his now ex-girlfriend.
According to Zodiac Sign, an Aries man is "attractive, strong and confident, always ready for something new and exciting". However, it adds Aries men can be "rough, selfish, and impulsive" and could feel the need to show their supremacy in a relationship.
Sharing his confusion on Reddit, the man said: "I met this girl, she seemed awesome. She was into the same music that I was, she liked the same music I did, she had red hair and if I'm being honest she was super attractive."
But after asking for his birthday three months into their relationship, he says she turned "a bit nutty" and he shared how "nothing felt right from that point". Giving an insight into an Aries' personality when in a relationship, the Zodiac Sign added: "Relationships are not easy to Aries in general, but Aries men have special trouble when needed to connect to their partner, feel compassion and think for two.

"He finds it much easier to do everything alone and finds it rare in a partner to have enough energy to follow his lead. Aries man is prone to chauvinism more than any other sign in the zodiac. The man went on to explain how shortly after learning he is an Aries, his girlfriend turned cold and ended their relationship without a 'real' reason. He added: "She distanced herself and she acted as if everything I said contradicted her beliefs. Then comes the day of our breakup.
"She lost her mind when I didn't pick up a stranger's trash off the side of the road.. She told me I was a "typical Aries" and didn't care about anyone but myself. It's like bruh it's 2am and I want to get home. I don't have time to pick up a stranger's trash."
Commenting on his post, one user said: "Why does anyone actually believe in astrological signs? Let me ask this; let's say 50 people are born on the same day, or week, and they all qualify as a Leo, that means that they're all the same personality type right? As in all, these people would make the same decisions, judgements, actions. How the f*** do people think that's real?"
Another user added: "I'm an Aries and in true Aries spirit, I would like to say f*** that s***. You might not have picked up the trash off the street, but the trash in your life definitely took itself out. If she was really into astrology, she'd have used your moon sign against you. Aries unite."
A third user said: "Sounds like she was making an excuse to end the relationship. I'm sorry this had to happen to you. I hope you hook up with someone twice as better." One more user added: "Sounds like you were dating an idiot and dodged a big bullet there."
