Noel Radford dismisses idea his family are 'millionaires' after car comments
Sue Radford and Noel Radford are said to have dismissed the suggestion that they are "millionaires" amid discussion about their family's lifestyle in recent years.
The couple are known for appearing alongside the rest of the Radford family on the Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting. Sue, 48, and her husband Noel, 53, also run the Radford's Pie Company, which is located in Morecambe.
Just last month, the pair released their debut book, the Radfords: Making Life Count. It's just one of the ways in which Sue and Noel have updated fans on their lives in recent years, alongside posts on social media, for example.
It was previously revealed in a post that Sue got a Range Rover for her birthday in 2021. They are said to have since swapped it for a Porsche, with the Sun reporting that Noel said in their book: "Then we got rid of that Porsche and we replaced it with another one. Then we got rid of that [one too], because it was c**p. Then a bit later, in September 2023, we got another Porsche."
The couple however are said to have insisted that they are "not millionaires". It was reported last month that Sue and Noel have an estimated net worth of £975,000, though the former has said that she doesn't consider them "rich".
Parents of UK's biggest family 'in agony' after son ends up in trouble at schoolPreviously asked about that, Sue is quoted as having said in response to the suggestion: "Absolutely not, we're definitely not secret millionaires. To me rich would be having the big mansion, the flash cars and quite a few hundred thousand in the bank. To me that would be rich but we are not that."
Sue once said that the pair have "worked extremely hard" to get to the position they are in now and suggested that they don't "spoil" their children. And addressing criticism once, she said: "I think people forget that we don't just have our bakery, we also work very hard on our media company and filming for our new program just like lots of other 'influencers'."
Among other vehicles, the family's collection in recent years has included their motorhome, which they unveiled in a vlog that was released back in 2022. Sue and Noel, along with some of their children, have since been on holidays in the motorhome, which has been described as "a dream come true".
Writing about the purchase that year, they said: "We feel so incredibly lucky to be able to own our own motorhome as it's been a dream for so long. I just know these memories in this motorhome will be ones we cherish forever."
