Harry and Meghan's sweet gesture during visit to Uvalde Shooting victim's family
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been seen making a sweet gesture during a visit to the family of one of the victims of the Uvalde Shooting.
The 2022 shooting shocked the world when 19 students and two teachers were left dead alongside another 17 injured by 18-year-old shooter Salvador Ramos. One of the teachers killed in the attack was Irma Garcia, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex meeting with her family almost two years on since the fatal shooting.
In a sweet clip from the meeting, Harry and Meghan can be seen joining in with singing 'Happy Birthday' for Garcia's sister as they joined the family at home in Texas.

In a video clip shared on twitter/X, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen singing 'Happy Birthday' (X)Garcia’s nephew, John Martinez, shared a clip of the Duke and Duchess singing as he wrote on Twitter: "Prince Harry and Meghan Markle singing happy birthday to my mom". In the video Meghan can be seen presenting a birthday cake as Harry stands behind her, with the couple joining in the family to sing.

In an interview to CNN, Martinez revealed the visit from the Sussexes was a surprise as he told the station: "It was such a beautiful experience, they’re so nice and compassionate, very down to earth, humble people. It was kind of by surprise, [Meghan] had called my mom one random day and dropped the news on us not too long ago that she was coming to visit the kids and of course we got so excited."
Visiting the family's home, Meghan and Harry "carefully" navigated the difficult situation with "love", according to body language expert Judi James as she exclusively told The Mirror: "It's beaming presentations of birthday cakes plus group hugs and self-hugs here."
She added: "Harry and Meghan show some fond family-style posing on their visit to Irma Garcia's sister. Meghan's smile is especially wide as she poses in the middle with her arms around her hosts, while her very careful offering of a cake with lit candles give her vibe of wanting to be seen as part of the family for the occasion another boost."
"Harry's arm and hand ritual as he watches is virtually a mime of being close to overcome with emotion," Judi explained after watching the moving footage. "One arm forms a self-hug while the free hand is placed splayed on his upper chest, tilted to signify his heart in a very emphatic ritual of love and sadness."
