Fans think John Krasinski 'asked Emily Blunt for divorce' in awkward moment
Fans think they've worked out exactly what John Krasinski was saying to wife Emily Blunt at the Golden Globes, weighing in on "divorce" rumours.
Amateur lip readers have analysed footage from the red carpet, taking interest in the moment The Office actor appears to suggest he "can't wait for divorce". The loved-up pair tied the knot back in 2010 and share daughters Hazel, nine, and Violet, seven.
But followers seem to think something might be up after watching the video shared by CBS News more than "500 times" to work out what the Jim Halpert star, 44, said to his wife, 40. "Did he say I can’t wait to divorce," asked one eagle-eyed fan on TikTok.

While others say there's nothing to worry and that they were simply discussing the weather at the star-studded ceremony held in Beverly Hills over the weekend. "I can't wait to get indoors," said another viewer, snubbing any suggestion of marital talk.
Others reckon he was saying the word "awards", not "divorce". While another fan suggested John was obviously saying "It's actually kinda chilly right now", claiming that his wife then replied "I can't wait to get indoors", this theory was backed by another.
John and Emily's red carpet appearance didn't get off to a great start, with the pair being rated amongst the 'worst dressed' by former Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills star Morgan Stewart. Morgan, who is married to Dr. Phil’s son and musician Jordan McGraw, shared a video from Access Hollywood of Emily and John and wrote her opinion across it.

Emily, a Best Supporting Actress nominee, was dressed in a heavily embellished gold and white Alexander McQueen gown which an intricate beaded bodice with detals down to her thighs at mini-length, the dress then transformed into sheer shite netting down to the ground which showed her legs in a key Spring 2024 fashion trend.
It comes after Emily admitted she was stepping back from the world of acting as she was struggling to balance acting and parenting. She told the Table For Two podcast: “It’s one of those things when people are like, ‘How do you balance it?’.
"I never feel like I’m doing it right, you know. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we're in the last year of single digits. And I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they're little. And it's, 'Will you wake me up? Will you take me to school? Will you pick me up? Will you put me to bed?'.
"And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones. I had a beautiful time on the projects I did last year. Some were more tense than others, some were harder than others. Some were more time consuming than others."
