Police seek to locate man after woman punched in face with bike at Leytonstone High Road Overground station

Anyone who recognises him - or has any other relevant information - is asked to contact police.

Police have released an image of a man they want to trace after a woman was punched in the face at a train station.

It happened at Leytonstone High Road overground station in east London on Sunday 2 June at around 8.30pm.

The woman was walking down a stairwell with her bike when a man approached and pushed her, said British Transport Police.

He then punched her in the face outside the station, causing her to fall to the ground.

Police said the man in the CCTV image might have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police.
