Strictly’s Dianne Buswell addresses baby plans with Joe Sugg after split rumours

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has spoken about starting a family with boyfriend Joe Sugg.

The 34-year-old dancer reached the final of the BBC dance competition with EastEnders star Bobby Brazier earlier this month. As the close-knit pair just missed out on the Glitterball Trophy, there were rumours of unrest in Dianne's relationship with YouTuber Joe, who she met when they were paired together in the 2018 series of Strictly.

While in October, OK! reported that Dianne and Joe were ‘going through a difficult time,’ it now seems that everything is going swimmingly again as the couple enjoy time in the dancer's native Australia. As she enjoys some downtime with her partner, Dianne looked to her future and said that having a baby with Joe is on the agenda, but not quite yet.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Dianne addressed their baby plans, saying: "I think definitely for sure at one point we’ll have children. It’s something we’d both love, but we don’t know when just yet. We always say our kids are going to watch YouTube videos of us dancing one day, and that’s so cool!"

Reflecting on how they met, Dianne admitted that she thought it was "crazy" that she found love on Strictly and that they often wonder where their lives would have gone if they hadn't been paired together on the BBC show. She said: "We do wonder whether we’d actually have met. If he hadn’t been on the show, I wouldn’t have got to know him!"

Despite it being five years since they competed together on Strictly, Dianne said that they still regularly practice their ballroom steps together in the kitchen and is hoping that Joe will join her in an Argentine Tango, after she performed the dance for the first time on Strictly, with Bobby. She is predicting big things for the EastEnders star and said about him: "Bobby is so interesting – he may only be 20 years old, but he is such an inspiring person. He’s got a zest for life, a great head on his shoulders, yet is so humble."

During her holiday in Australia, Dianne has been joining her dad Mark as he undergoes chemotherapy and Joe has been producing a daily video blog for his followers as part of his 'Vlogmas' which features Dianne and her father as he gets treatment, holding his hand during the process.
