Brooklyn Beckham shared a secret video he captured before he proposed to Nicola Peltz to celebrate her 28th birthday.

The budding chef started his romantic reel with a clip of the breath-taking views that the couple looked out onto when he got down on one knee.

Having wanted to document the proposal preparation, he took the footage the day before he asked Nicola to marry him.

After panning across the clifftop location, which featured a beautiful viewing point, which was nestled in woodland.

"So, tomorrow I'm going to ask you to marry me, obviously you don't know that yet, but no I found this little cute spot, I'm really excited and you have no idea - and I can't wait, I love you," he told the camera before blowing a kiss in the throwback video.

After the video came a selection of photos and clips of the happy couple together, including on their wedding day.

He captioned the video: "Happy birthday Nicola xx From the moment I laid my eyes on you I thought you were the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen and since then I’m still trying to figure out how your mine xx I love you so so much baby and I hope you have the most amazing day because you deserve it xx love you"

The birthday girl replied to his gushing post, writing: "I love you so much you’re my world!" with a heart-eye emoji.

Brooklyn also hosted a pink party for Nicola and her friends where he laid out a full spread of cakes and other sweet treats.

He wore an apron which read: "At your service, girls."

Brooklyn's parents also wished their daughter-in-law a happy birthday on Instagram.

Victoria shared a photo of her and Nicola sat at a bar giggling together.

"Happy Birthday @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham Hope you have a lovely day!!! X" She wrote in the caption.

David also shared a photo of Nicola, taken on the same night as the one that Victoria posted.

His message to her was also nearly identical, as he said: "Happy birthday, have a lovely day @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham."
