Gwyneth Paltrow recently confessed that she is ready to throw away fame for good and "disappear from public life".

The 51-year-old businesswoman, after already quitting Hollywood fame, has announced that after she sells her lifestyle brand Goop she is ready to escape from the spotlight for good. Gwyneth explained that she is not yet ready to sell her popular health brand, but will be looking to in a few years. And once she does, she is excited to live a slow, peaceful life.

During an interview with Bustle, Gwyneth shared her eagerness to live a life away from the limelight. She told the news outlet: "I will literally disappear from public life. No one will ever see me again."

She added that she has never felt any personal satisfaction from being famous and she was never motivated by money during her career. She told the news outlet: "I’ve always done independent films," and added: "I don’t know. Money has never been my thing. It’s never been my driver."

The former Sliding Doors actress added that she was never attracted to men due to their money, despite dating a number of A-list celebrities. She said: "I could never get attracted to the really rich guy...and I don’t make choices to build value in the wrong way."

Gwyneth is currently married to director and writer Brad Falchuk after tying the knot in 2018. She was also previously married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin and famously dated famous actors Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, Luke Wilson, among others.

The former A Perfect Murder star went on to express the aspects of her current professional work that do bring her joy. Gwyneth works as the founder of her wellness brand Goop where she sells a variety of products including clean beauty products, skincare, decor, clothing, and more. She told the news outlet: "Creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision, that kind of thing."

The mother of two went on to explain how she is ready to shift her focus and allow herself to slow down, which she has felt an anxiety around in previous years. She said: "We as women are so programmed to be busy. It’s like a badge of honour, and we’ve all bought this thing from the patriarchy hook, line, and sinker that we have to be busy and over-performing," she continued: "I’d like to move into the next phase more from a place of discovery and gentleness. To let life unfold, as opposed to ‘I’m not doing enough.'"

Gwyneth shared that now when she is given time off she feels like she can't unwind because she feels the sense she should be doing something more productive. She told the news outlet: "Because now, if I fully take a weekend off, sometimes I’ll start to feel anxious, like, ‘Oh, my God, what should I be doing?’ Even when I’m trying to relax, I’ll think, ‘OK, I’ll sit down with a great novel!’ And it’s like, Jesus, can you not just sit down and daydream?"

As she gets older and matures more, Gwyneth admitted that she cares less of what others think of her and is ready to embrace a more easygoing lifestyle. She said: "I don’t give a f**k what anyone says about me, thinks about me, this is who I am."
