Gwyneth Paltrow jokes about 'doing cocaine' and 'going home with random men'
Gwyneth Paltrow joked about doing "cocaine and not getting caught" as she reflected on life in the public eye in the 1990s – before social media.
The Sliding Doors actress, 50, admitted she could "go home with someone random" after "stumbling out of a bar" and "no one would know".
She made the revelations during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden – speaking of her career pre-noughties.
"It was great, talk about doing cocaine and not getting caught," she explained on Monday night's episode. "You could just be at a bar having fun, dance on the table."
She added: "There were no camera phones, especially in New York, there were no paparazzi."

She once advocated ecstasy drug MDMA in couples’ therapy, saying she was "really looking forward to it being legal" so she can have MDMA therapy sessions in the US back in 2020.
At the time, she said: "I’ve had friends who have gone through the process and found it life changing.
"The capacity for healing is going to be a real gift to the world. I’m really looking forward to it being legal, because I want to try this out."
It was back in 2015 that Gwyneth first confessed to taking drugs after being quizzed about her usage while appearing on Watch What Happens Live.
"What is the hardest drug you've ever taken?", host Andy Cohen asked. The Hollywood starlet quickly replied: "Ecstasy", without going into any detail.
It was during her most recent interview that she gave an insight into her pregnancy cravings before welcoming her now 18-year-old daughter, Apple.
"I wanted apples, yogurt, Swiss cheese and Baskin-Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. That's all I wanted," she explained.
"Apple is now 18 and I have a junior in high school," Gwyneth told James. "Moses is 16."

Gwyneth thanked James for once giving her son Moses a 'Uber ride' home. James explained: "We talked only about music."
The host said: "He got out of the car and me and Jules [James' wife] was like 'well he's the coolest person I think we have ever met'."
