Joe Jonas changes lyric of hit song after filing for divorce from Sophie Turner
Joe Jonas appeared to change a key line in one of his hit songs just days after filing for divorce from Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
Fans were left devastated when the couple announced their marriage is over, taking to social media to say it was a "mutual decision" and that things were ended "amicably". Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Joe had already ditched his wedding ring when he took to the stage with the Jonas Brothers in Las Vegas on Friday night, but only the most dedicated fans also noticed a change to one of their songs during a gig in Phoenix on Wednesday.
The brothers performed their hit Hesitate, which was released the same year that Joe and Sophie married - 2019. In the original version of the song, he sings: "Don't be scared because I'm on your side." However, on stage on Wednesday night he instead sang: "Don't be scared because I'm on her side."

In a post on their Instagram stories, they both wrote: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
Joe, 34, and Sophie, 27, first got together in 2016 after mutual friends encouraged them to start chatting. Joe ended up slipping into Sophie's DMs and they spent a while chatting before arranging to meet up for a drink. She previously said: "We had a lot of mutual friends, and they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time. We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue." They both brought pals along to their first meeting but spent the whole night getting to know each other

Sophie has previously recalled: "He didn't bring security. He brought a friend, and they drank just as hard as the rest of us. I remember the two of us spending only a couple of minutes on the dance floor, and then we just found a space far in the corner and we just talked. We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I was, like, not bored. It wasn't contrived. It wasn't small talk - it was just so easy. And soon we were, like, inseparable. I went on tour with him. "
News of their divorce comes after rumours that the pair have experienced "serious problems" for months.
Joe and Sophie share two daughters together - Willa, who they welcomed in 2020, and the second child known only as 'D.J,' who was born in 2022.
