Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' married life with young kids amid 'divorce' rumours
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas shocked fans when it was rumoured the couple are 'headed for divorce' after four years of marriage.
The Game of Thrones actress and the singer are reportedly "on the cusp" of filing for divorce, with sources claiming to TMZ that the couple have had "serious problems" for the last six months of their relationship. Sophie, 27, and Joe, 34, started dating in 2016 and were introduced through mutual friends.
They hit it off almost immediately and were spotted that same year kissing at a Kings of Leon concert in Rotterdam. However, the duo didn't publicly confirm their relationship until January 2017, when Sophie posted a picture of Joe smoking a cigar in Miami on her Instagram page.
Not long after, the singer got down on one knee to propose to her with a gorgeous £119,000 diamond ring. They announced the exciting news on Instagram, with Joe posting a snap of Sophie wearing the ring, writing: "She said yes." The couple didn't get married until two years later in a low-key legal wedding ceremony when they eloped to Las Vegas.
"They had to get married in the States to make it legal, but the wedding is still in Europe," a source told People Magazine at the time. In true Las Vegas style, the wedding was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator. Fans even got a glimpse into the event thanks to DJ Diplo recording it on his Instagram Live.

The duo tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed two kids (Getty Images)It wasn't their only wedding as they also tied the knot in front of their nearest and dearest in a beautiful chateau in the south of France. Sophie's close friend and Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams was a bridesmaid while Nick and Kevin Jonas were the groomsmen.
Almost a year after their wedding, Sophie and Joe welcomed their first child, Willa. Speaking to UK Weekly at the time, a representative of the couple said: “Willa isn’t a family name and isn’t short for anything. [It] is a name they had picked out a while ago before the baby’s arrival.”
Fans were over the moon when Sophie revealed she and Joe were expecting their second child during an interview in May this year. She gushed to Elle magazine: "It's what life is about for me – raising the next generation. The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We're so excited to be expanding the family. It's the best blessing ever."
Sophie had sparked speculation she was with child once again as she and Joe were spotted out and about together this year. The actress finally confirmed her happy news as she and Joe posed together on the red carpet of the Met Gala. After welcoming their second child, a spokesperson told People: "Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl."
Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that the couple might be headed for divorce. The duo attended events together in public but in recent weeks Joe has been seen not wearing his wedding ring. They also recently sold their Miami mansion just a year after buying the home.
