Sam Faiers tricks fans and famous pals with dramatic dark 'transformation'
Reality star Sam Faiers had fans questioning what is really real when she shared a throwback photo that fooled many into thinking she had undergone a radical transformation.
The 32-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a seductive portrait photograph of herself. The image showed Sam giving some side-eye with attitude and sporting a pair of dazzling Chanel earrings.
Posing in the classic model stance of ‘Inquisitive squirrel’, she had her hands clasped to the side while cautiously peeking in the other direction. While the snap also showed Sam sporting deep brown coloured locks. The glamorous shot sparked a frenzy of admiration from social media followers when she posted it without comment in the middle of the week. But many of her devout fans were convinced they had seen the shot before.
One Instagram follower dismissed Sam’s glamorous photo, writing in response in the comments section of the post: “Nice photo, but I’ve seen it before, it’s an old one from ages ago.” And indeed, the shot is almost five years old.
The image was originally captured by arty professional photographer Anna Fowler - who specialises in lingerie and wedding photography. The talented snapper had shared the image herself way back in January 2019 - and has shared the photo in her portfolio online.

While the image may be many years old now, fans were still delighted to see the image when it randomly appeared on Sam’s main feed this week. Many were quick to double tap the image and leave words of appreciation in response.
One follower gushed: “Simply stunning”, another commented: “Wowee beautiful lady” - and even former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman reacted to the post to declare it: “So gorgeous.”

A source told the MailOnline: "She took no external investment and built the business from the ground up with her business partner. With the business being profitable from day one and set to launch across the US next month, she firmly has her eyes set on becoming the global market leader in ingestible collagen. Whilst she's had a couple of business failures along the way, she's definitely struck gold with Revive Collagen."
