Nicola Bulley's friend has reissued an appeal for information relating to the ‘bizarre’ disappearance of the mum-of-two a week ago on Friday.

The disappearance of Nicola, a mortgage adviser, has sparked a huge search along the River Wyre in Lancashire, with police stressing they don't believe there is any third-party involvement.

Nicola’s friend Emma White appeared on Friday morning’s instalment of Good Morning Britain to make an emotional plea about her ‘great’ friend as she asked anyone with information to speak to the police.

Host Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard spoke with Emma remotely from Lancashire as they asked whether there was anything 45-year-old Nicola might have said or done to give an ‘indication’ of her disappearance.

Kate said: “I’m sure you spent 24 hours a day wondering what might have happened.”

Yet Emma said there was nothing she could point to, as she added: “You look at all the things – she’s on a conference call from work, she’s got playdates arranged and is going out at the weekend.

“It’s just bizarre. Nothing makes any sense at this moment in time. She was walking the dog and is a great animal lover. That’s why we're all here, because nothing makes any sense.”

She went on to describe the ‘surreal’ situation, as she continued: “We’ve got this feeling of great sadness.

“We’ve got heartaches mixed in there with a whole load of hope. You just can’t explain the feeling that’s going on.

“Then we have the two most beautiful girls out there asking where’s their mummy, asking all these questions and we can’t give them answers.”

Emma said Nicola’s family were being ‘so strong’ for their two girls, continuing: “They know mummy’s missing. Today, apparently the hair wasn’t quite right for one of the little girls, because that’s not the way mummy does it.”

She concluded: “I think we’ve touched the nation here. She’s a daughter, mother, partner, sister and a great friend. We just all want her back.”

Nicola’s last known journey before she vanished has been revealed in a new satellite image tracing her steps on a dog walk through a wooded area and surrounding field.

After dropping her children off at school, Nicola walked her dog Willow in St Michael's, Lancashire, arriving at a 'gate/bench' point marked on the satellite image at around 8:46am.

She is believed to have walked along a path past a lower and upper field and a hedgerow before being sighted at approximately 9:10am on the morning of January 27.

Around 40 minutes later, the alarm was raised when a member of the public recognised Willow alone and without her harness.

Nicola's mobile was also found and police said she was dialled into a work call, but had her camera off and was muted.
