'Bored' Ben Affleck spotted at Grammys with JLo as viewers left in hysterics

The Good Morning Britain was left in hysterics on Monday morning as the presenters poured over footage from the Grammys awards over the weekend.

The star-studded night in Los Angeles saw Harry Styles pick up the biggest Grammy of the night, Album of the Year, for Harry’s House.

Yet many viewers were distracted from the main event on the stage after a series of shots of Ben Affleck in the audience alongside wife Jennifer Lopez on Sunday evening.

The Batman star was looking slightly world weary through the awards ceremony compared to J Lo, who presented the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

The newlyweds were seated towards the front of the stage, which allowed cameras to catch their dancing and reactions to the event.

He was seen at the Grammys wearing a blank expression and seemingly staring off in the distance as Jennifer danced in her seat to Stevie Wonder’s hit song Higher Ground.

His less than enthusiastic reaction to the Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson musical tribute inspired thousands of hilarious comments on social media as viewers shared their amused reactions on Twitter.

Good Morning Britain entertainment reporter Richard Arnold joked: “Love don’t cost a thing, but perhaps smiles do after Ben Affleck was pictured on multiple occasions looking less than impressed. He wasn’t sharing his wife’s enthusiasm.”

The ITV programme then played a highlight reel of the Bennifer clips from the night, as Susanna Reid joked: “That is very much a plus one on the night. ‘Yeah, alright if I have to go’.”

Richard noted that if you tot up the hours of the Grammys event, including all the awards, it's about an eight hour long affair.

He added of the Massachusetts-native: “He’s broken the internet again,” before Susanna dubbed it ‘awkward resting face’.

However, Ben Shephard was playing devil’s advocate in the studio and said: “If you’re stood next to Jennifer Lopez and everyone’s got to slowly bop along, what’s he going to do?

“Otherwise he just gets accused of dodgy dad dancing. Roll of the shoulders, the elbows come out. He looks stoic and he looks supportive.”

However, Richard smiled as he insisted: “He looks bored, mate,” before Ben admitted: “Maybe he was.”
