Coronation Street actress 'marrying co-star today' in lavish Cotswolds ceremony
Coronation Street's Faye Brookes is thought to be marrying her boyfriend in the Cotswolds today at a 'posh venue' after just months of dating. The actress announced her engagement with her theatre boss beau Iwan Lewis in January earlier this year.
Committing to each other after just four months, the pair's whirlwind romance has reportedly reached new levels as they prepare to say 'I do' later today (Wednesday, August 23) at a lavish countryside ceremony, sources tell The Sun.
"They're tying the knot today in the Cotswolds," insiders claim. "It's a traditional church wedding, then a huge reception at a posh venue nearby - then they're staying at a spa for the night."

They hit it off following Faye's split from her fitness-fanatic boyfriend of three-years, Joe Davis, back in July last year.
Now sources say the couple 'picked a stunning venue in the Cotswolds' and it's 'not far from where they now live'. "It’s going to be a super low-key affair and very intimate – with just their nearest and dearest in attendance," they told The Sun.

Sources claim the ceremony is 'not going to be a big glitzy event with celebs' and that there will be 'drama school friends and Faye’s oldest pals instead'.
The Mirror has contacted Faye's representatives for comment.
Detailing her romance back in April earlier this year, Faye told OK! Magazine: "It’s making my heart pound now because I still can’t believe we’re getting married. It’s still sinking in for me.

"I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, I can say that from the bottom of my heart. It’s a gut thing too. I’m not questioning anything," she added at the time. At the beginning of the year, Dancing On Ice's Faye shared the news of her engagement after a few months of dating.
Although they had only been dating for four months, Faye and Ivan believed that they have found soulmates in one another - and the theatre boss knew he couldn't wait any longer to ask Faye to be his wife. "Faye and Iwan are engaged and could not be happier about it," a source told at the time.
Faye, who was a runner-up on Dancing On Ice in 2021, played Kate Connor in Corrie for four years until 2019. She has been engaged before to former Pop Idol legend Gareth Gates. Gareth and Faye announced their split in August 2019. It came almost seven years after meeting in 2012.
