Paddy Pimblett called out by The Ultimate Fighter winner at UFC 292
Paddy Pimblett has been called out for a fight by Kurt Holobaugh after he won the lightweight tournament of The Ultimate Fighter.
Holobaugh earned himself a third shot in the UFC by tapping out Austin Hubbard in Boston on Saturday night. The 36-year-old veteran was cut in 2019 after a string of losses but is now back after his impressive win against Hubbard and he made use of his post-fight interview by calling for a fight against Pimblett.
"I've waited a long time to get on this microphone and it feels good. I'm a jiu-jitsu black belt and I didn't go into that Ultimate Fighter house being able to show all of my skills. Hey, I know a lot of people call you out but Paddy the Baddy if you want to fight a real Ultimate Fighter winner, let's go baby. I'm right here waiting, I ain't going nowhere."

Pimblett has been sidelined for all of this year after suffering an ankle injury in his controversial win against Jared Gordon last December. 'The Baddy' is expected to return in the first quarter of next year and Holobaugh feels he does more than enough to earn a fight against the Scouser.
Logan Paul and KSI announce new partnership with UFC president Dana White"He's got a name, he's a rising star but the reality is I was in the UFC long before that guy. I feel like the UFC kind of butters him up a little bit and gives him some easy fights. He's never fought somebody with the experience that I have and he's never fought somebody that just did what I did on The Ultimate Fighter," Holobaugh added.
"I had to go through a murderers row of guys in the house, that's fighting twice in 10 days and then preparing for this fight tonight. I feel like every guy that I fought and beat in the house is better than Paddy, so why not give me a big fight against one of the biggest rising stars in the world."
"All gas no brakes, I'm not getting any younger. I'm not satisfied just being back in the UFC, I want to be here and make a legit run. I think I can do that, I want to get a number besides my name. I want to keep on going and fighting some of the best guys in the world to test myself. The ultimate goal is to be a UFC world champion."
