The Chase star Mark Labbett showed off his slimmed down frame after shedding over nine stone in recent years.

Known as The Beast on the ITV game show due to his size, the 57-year-old – who is also 6ft 6 – used to be 29 stone at his heaviest. However, after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes back in 2017, Mark was given a wake-up call to lose weight and after completely overhauling his lifestyle, he shed a whopping nine stone in total.

Mark, who recently revealed that he no longer has any appetite after his staggering weight loss transformation, was spotted looking thinner than ever on Tuesday as he was seen arriving to his hotel in London while carrying an array of his shirts. The TV star smiled as he was captured running errands before entering the hotel. Mark donned a loose black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans for his dressed-down look.

Earlier this week, Mark made an appearance on Loose Women where he was questioned on whether or not he had a gastric sleeve fitted in order to help him shed the drastic amount of weight he did. However, Mark denied having the surgery, explaining instead that he stuck to a strict regime before losing his appetite altogether.

Mark explained that he started by cutting out sugar from his diet and revealed his beloved golden retriever Baloo helped get him into the habit of exercising regularly, branding his dog his 'personal trainer'.

Asked how he lost the weight, Mark explained: “It was a combination of so many things. Covid etc. I had it a couple of times, which suppressed the appetite. My wife was working at the local hospital, which meant I was looking after our son and you suddenly realise how tough it is. I’m just not that hungry anymore."

Although Mark previously revealed that he was tempted to go under the knife in a bid to shed weight, he decided against it, and instead, set his mind on doing things the 'old fashioned way' with a intuitive diet and a scheduled exercise regime.

"I'm not really trying to diet, I'm just being sensible, people say you've had the gastric sleeve or band, and I haven't. I was tempted by the gastric band but a good friend of mine who's a GP, said my problem is sugar, I have a sweet tooth," he previously told The Sun. "A gastric band is useless for me because sugar metabolises quite quickly, so I've done it the old fashion way by eating a bit less and I've tried to go to the gym."
