Danniella Westbrook was seen enjoying a topless suntanning session at the beach with a heavily bandaged head. The 49-year-old was previously rushed to the hospital when a wound from her surgery reopened.

The former EastEnders star also had a bandage on her nose as she soaked up the sun in Ibiza. Danniella didn't let her hospital dash stop her from having a sun-soaked holiday as she walked around the beach wearing coral bikini bottoms and black-and-white sliders.

Her hair was tied up to make it easier for the layers of bandages to sit on her forehead snugly. It was also wrapped around her neck. It is believed that a wound had opened up with Danniella instantly wanting to have it checked out by medical staff. She was also recently pictured having the bandage wrapped around her head by staff.

The actress has been open about undergoing surgery in the last few months and recently flew to Turkey for a boob job. The Mirror exclusively revealed Danniella had flown to get her boobs done "four sizes bigger ". A source discussed her eighth boob job and said: "Danniella is flying to Turkey to get her boobs done four sizes bigger. She will also be getting facial contour and thread lifts in elbows and knees."

The surgery is said to have increased her boob size from a 34B to a 34DD, despite advice from doctors that her frame was too small for the procedure. She said she "literally begged him to do it" after saying she "didn’t care" and wanted her breasts to look like "huge footballs", adding: "I thought they were great".

In April, she also underwent surgery on her face to try and correct her nose following years of cocaine abuse. However, it ended up being a horrifying botched job as she claimed the surgeon slapped her while she was being operated on and an assistant allegedly took her phone when she complained.

Speaking about the nightmare surgery, she explained: "If I don’t have it done, the palate in the back of my mouth will collapse and I’ll suffocate to death. When I went to Turkey, I could have died. I could have died if someone had just botched it any further. I’m not the youngest person in the world and I haven’t been the wellest."

Danniella originally planned on paying a UK surgeon £500,000 to get her face back to look how it used to and didn't care how much it would have cost her. However, she revealed she was persuaded by a friend to fly to Turkey to undergo surgery and said it was her "own fault".

The star said the surgery led to her losing out on an appearance on Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins - denying her a major TV show comeback and a large paycheck. Speaking on Natalie Bailey's Confidence Mastery podcast, Danniella said: "I was meant to do it last year but couldn't do it because of the surgery.

"I'm going to do it. The only thing that stands in my way is my mind when I actually think about it. The only thing that does it is if I told me I can't. Me. I don't want to fail. Yeah, I'm going to go and do that. I'm petrified.

"It's not even about the physical stuff. My son said to me, 'How are you going to stand there with somebody this close to you, shouting in your face and say my son doesn't speak like that and I gave birth to him?'

"He said, 'You have to be quiet. You're not going to be able to do that'. But I am. I've 50 this year. I need to do something. I've done all the physical ones like Dancing On Ice but I need to do this."
