EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy admits 'I don't feel like myself' after hair mix-up
EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy revealed she was reversing her hair transformation on Saturday as she "didn't feel like herself".
The actress, 40, who has played Sonia Fowler on the BBC One soap since 1993, ditched her signature brunette locks for a lighter look last month. Fans went wild for the new hairdo at the time with one writing on Instagram: "You hair looks fab!" with another adding: "I was thinking the same!"
However, Natalie admitted that she was changing her hair back on Saturday and hilariously joked about her "poor hairdresser". Posting a glamorous shot of her lighter locks, Natalie penned: "To everyone who's said nice things about my barnet, thank you but I'm changing it back today. I'm pleased I tried going lighter but I just don't feel like me! My poor hairdresser!" with a laughing emoji.
It comes as Natalie was praised by fans last week as she shared a candid video from her staycation to Cornwall. The star penned: "If like me you decided on yet another British summer holiday, don’t be glum about the rain. We knew there was a high chance of rain. We’re in England. Embrace it. It’s still beautiful. Your kids are still excited we are not at working or at home cleaning whilst they watch the telly. Enjoy it. #summerholidays #mumlife #daughters #family #britishweather #rainraingoaway #together @camera_marc."
In the video, Natalie says: "Just in the car at the moment, my coat's still a bit wet. It's still raining in Cornwall but we're not moaning about anything! Right? Because we're away and that's what matters! We're away as a family of four. We tried to go to the aquarium but the car park was so busy because I think everyone's got the same idea so we've decided not to. But it's going to dry up for a couple of hours, so we're going to try and enjoy a bit of the beach. So yeah, everything's great."
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessNatalie's 334K followers were quick to respond with one writing: "I love your posts Nat, you do make me smile. Happy holidays to you and your family x", a different account put: "Absolutely! Positiveness and it’s what you make it. Have a lovely time in beautiful Cornwall" with a heart emoji while another fan added: "Love your posts, enjoy your holiday whatever the weather."
