Russia’s Interior Minister son Alexander Kolokoltsev gifted fiancée Lolita Shonina €1.5 million in luxury bags
Alexander Kolokoltsev, the son of Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, has reportedly gifted his partner, Lolita Shonina, a former Miss Tourism Crimea, luxury handbags worth an estimated €1.5 million.
Following previous media reports claiming Kolokoltsev had given Shonina a €3.6 million Rolex "Barbie" watch, the publication says the revelations triggered a wave of attempts to remove traces of their relationship from social media. Shonina reportedly deleted photos showing parts of Alexander, including his hand wearing a watch said to be worth €400,000, as well as an image featuring a heart drawn in the snow with the letters "A+L." Later, access to her social media accounts was reportedly restricted.
According to the report, Alexander Kolokoltsev and his associates also sought to limit the spread of the story by involving bloggers and social media specialists.
Investigators who reviewed Shonina’s now-restricted photos said they identified more than 30 Hermès handbags, along with bags from Chanel and other luxury brands, allegedly received as gifts from Kolokoltsev. The total value of the handbag collection was estimated at approximately €1.5 million.
