Love Island's Malin Andersson exposed the cruel weight-shaming trolls in her DMs after losing weight.

Former reality TV star Malin – who gave birth to her daughter Xaya last year – lost weight after welcoming her baby but said her lifestyle change was down to her having a healthy relationship with exercise and food after years of struggling with an eating disorder. The TV personality has been sharing updates on her health and her workout routines after learning her new healthy habits after years of struggling to maintain a balance.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a video of herself posing in the gym as she edited rude messages she received from trolls onto the clip. "I want your honesty," she captioned the post. "Would you go on someone’s page and personally message or comment about how they look like? In a negative way?

"I get so many nice messages.. they outweigh the bad for sure. But I’ve never known anything like it since I’ve made a healthy lifestyle change.. it’s mind-baffling. Ya’ll lucky I got a strong mindset cos some people don’t."

"You're getting smaller and smaller," one user said while another posted: "It's a form of self hard that is so common sadly." Another troll commented: "Hopefully you'll gain 10kg enjoying yourself on this holiday," and one said: "You come across as insecure and always trying to prove something."

Malin recently shared snaps of her toned body and opened up about struggling with an eating disorder for 15 years. She said: "Having battled an eating disorder for the best part of 15 years through my adolescence and early adulthood, it’s beautiful to exercise and have a healthy body which compliments my mind. I want to show you all that there is a way out of disordered eating and that healing is possible if you learn to love yourself internally first."

Malin went on to explain how far she has come in her journey, explaining that she has found her depression lifting as she continues to do the work on her body and soul – both physically and mentally. She said: "Man. I can't believe the days where I would be scared to eat. Scared that if I ate one biscuit or drink a glass of juice I would put on weight, lethargic, no energy. Obsessing over the scales, only doing cardio to lose weight. Being grumpy, fatigued, constantly thinking about food. Coffee cigarettes and red bull for energy it's mental.

"Fast forward 6 years and I've reversed my mindset. It took time. I woke up one day and had enough of making myself sick. Enough of feeling weak and looking weak."
