X Factor's Chico's age stuns Good Morning Britain hosts as he strips off on air

X Factor star Chico, real name Yousseph Slimani, surprised Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh when he stripped off live on air during a debate on whether beachwear is suitable away from the beach.

Ben and Ranvir revealed that parts of Italy and Spain have banned bikinis and bare torsos from public places while an OnlyFans model and influencer was banned from getting on her flight at Navegantes Airport in Brazil last weekend because her black two-piece cosplay outfit that resembled a bikini was 'too skimpy'.

Chico and journalist Afua Hagan joined GMB to discuss the debate but the X Factor star couldn't resist using the discussion as an opportunity to flash his abs. The singer described the British people as "uptight" before lifting up his top and adding: "Tell your viewers, 'Would you be offended if you saw that?'"

Ben, Ranvir and Afua were left speechless as they burst out laughing while Chico said: "I'm 52-years-young and not a day over fabulous. I think we should let it all hang out."

Afua said: "It's fine for Chico to do that but if I did it everyone would switch off the television immediately." Interrupting, Chico said: "This is the thing for me. You don't have to have a six-pack to be beautiful. I think it's about being your authentic self and being happy with your skin because beauty comes from within. Look at your smile!"

Both Chico and Afua branded the influencer's bikini airport-wear as a "publicity stunt" before the journalist pointed out she finds it "weird" when she's trying to buy her lunch and "someone is there with their top off". Meanwhile, last year, Chico revealed his surprising new spiritual job away from his singing career. Chico – who knocked Madonna off the top of the charts in 2006 – is the proud creator of Block Fit, a initiative described as 'revolutionary fitness brand that takes you through fun easy to follow choreography and original music sung by Chico himself'.

In a recent video shared to Block Fit's Instagram page, Chico claims he can 'get out' of depressive episodes due to exercising and doing his breath work, telling his followers: "It feels like a dark tunnel with no end in sight. I GUESS you could say a sense of helplessness which knocked me sideways as I’m not used to that feeling

"Anyhow pls listen to these two minutes as there’s always a solution to a problem."
