Noel Gallagher appeared to make a sharp exit from a London bar after a 'run in' with his brother Liam's son.

The Oasis star, 56, rocked up at the swanky Chiltern Firehouse with his daughter Anais, 23, on Tuesday after headlining at the South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace. However, the father and daughter reportedly left the venue after just an hour after coming face-to-face with Noel's brother Liam's son, Lennon.

The son of Liam and Patsy Kensit, 23, was seen entering the celebrity hangout, shortly before Noel was spotted making an exit. The father-of-three cut a cool figure wearing a black, fitted jacket and jeans while Anais could be seen waiting in a taxi.

Speaking about the family's rumoured run-in, a source told The Sun: "Noel and his daughter Anais got to Chiltern Firehouse for a night out together to celebrate following his show. But the atmosphere there changed when Lennon arrived. It was just awkward and they didn’t want any trouble.

"It’s no secret that Noel and Liam’s relationship is fractious, and that extends to their kids. Liam’s kids Lennon and Gene have publicly badmouthed Noel and Anais before, so they weren’t exactly thrilled to see him there."

There has been a bitter war of words between the brothers' children over the years amid Liam and Noel's well-documented feud. Lennon famously took a jibe at Noel's daughter Anais back in 2017 after she posted on Twitter: "I need love today. I’m feeling super fragile and basically need a boyfriend. But keep reminding myself I’m too embarrassing to get one!" Lennon sarcastically replied: "Really?''

Meanwhile, the model's brother, Gene, whose mum is All Saints star Nicole Appleton, took to Twitter saying he thought his cousin looked like "Noel in a wig" and questioned why the "posh rubbernecker" had been chosen as a catwalk model for Tommy Hilfiger. Liam and Noel have been at loggerheads for years, but the Beady Eye star recently said he was patiently waiting by the phone for Noel to call him so they can finally make amends.

The Mancunian rockers famously fell out in 2009 bringing their band Oasis to an end – with Noel quitting hours before the band were due to perform on stage and then releasing a statement that he could no longer work with Liam.

The brothers have subsequently taken aim at each other via headlines, interviews and social media, but now Liam wants to reconcile with his sibling – sort of. Speaking to DJ Jo Whiley on Radio 2, he said: "Our kid [Noel] has been called many times to get the band back together. It just so happens this time he wants it is when he has an album out. The way I see it, I won’t be calling him, he will be calling me. I want him to call. It would be lovely for my mum."

The Mirror has contacted Noel's reps for comment on this story.
