Ben Shephard flusters Tipping Point studio with X-rated mystery prize comment

Ben Shephard flustered the Tipping Point studio with an X-rated comment about the show’s mystery prize.

The 48-year-old presenter regularly has viewers in hysterics while hosting the ITV daytime game show, but his most recent outburst had fans hot under the collar.

Ben, who also co-hosts Good Morning Britain, introduced four new players to the studio - Rebekah, June, Anthony and Alasdair - who were all vying for the £10,000 prize.

The final showdown was between June and Alasdair who went head to head, but June won and had another go at the legendary Tipping Point machine.

Pushing out some lucky counters, Ben revealed she had won a portable massage bed, and he cracked a cheeky joke which left the contestants - and fans at home - blushing.

“That'll get you to your Tipping Point,” he said to June.

“The hubby is in for a shock,” the stunned contestant replied, prompting fits of laughter from the duo.

“You can think of me every time you are in bed now,” Ben smirked.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their surprise at the racy conversation, with one proud of June for thinking of a quick comeback to Ben’s saucy quip.

“Go on June, that shut him up!” they posted.

“June don’t get too excited,” another joked.

“Bit shocked [Ben] suggesting a massage bed would get an older female 'to her tipping point' and she should 'think of him every time she uses it' #tippingpoint #ohmy!” one stunned viewer added.

Viewers were surprised by the host's X-rated remark

The X-rated episode comes just days after Ben was seen losing his patience with celebrity contestants Christopher Biggins, Rosemary Shrager and Gareth Chilcott on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars as the famous faces tried to win £20,000 for charity.

The presenter was left exasperated with their wrong answers, including when Rosemary thought the lead character in Raiders of the Lost Ark was called Harrison.

The TV chef later forgot how to play the game, prompting Ben to sigh and tell the studio: “I'm not sure I can take any more.”
