Announcing her newborn daughter's name, Kate captioned the post: "Shae Ferdinand 10.7.23 Our strong little girl."
Kate's friends rushed to congratulate the arrival of the family's newest edition as Love Island star Montana Brown wrote: "Congrats gorgeous," while Towie star Georgia Kousoulou said: "Awwwww congratulations."
Rio's former football club Manchester United commented: "Congratulations."
Baby boy has spent his life in hospital as doctors are 'scared' to discharge himKate and Rio share a son together, Cree while Kate is also a stepmother to Rio's children Lorenz, Tate and Tia, 12 - who he shared with wife Rebecca Ellison before she died of breast cancer in 2015, aged just 34.
The TV personality recently revealed her baby girl was in breech position as she shared a pregnancy update during an appearance on Loose Women in June.
She said: "Can I tell the truth, I'm feeling a bit tired and the baby is breech. So she digs in the ribs and kicks in the bladder."
Kate and Rio revealed they were expecting a baby girl back in March with 12-year-old Tia "over the moon" at the news.
"[Tia] is so excited I feel like she's been praying for a little girl. We are very outnumbered with the boys so hopefully there's a bit more feminine energy in the house," Kate explained.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kate opened up on how she and Rio were sensitive to his three eldest children at the beginning of their relationship.
She said: "We didn't have the whole honeymoon period. It went full-blown, 'Right we've got kids and if we're going to make this work we're all in'. So the romance was pretty dead because there's three kids, they've lost their mum, you're thinking about so much, you just want to get it right.
"I don't feel like I was there constantly, and when I was I was fun. And absolutely no kissing. We said this the other day - I said, 'We don't really kiss in front of the kids that much'. It's because at the beginning we were so conscious to not do it, to not worry them, or make it uncomfortable, that all of a sudden we've then just continued that. So we've started to have a little peck. We go, 'Oh, give us a kiss - Urgh, disgusting.' But it is six years down the line now."
