If you're keen to banish orange grout stains from your bathroom, then look no further. Mrs Hinch fans have shared a tried-and-tested method for removing the unsightly stains - and it works in as little as five minutes.

What's more, you can purchase the £5 spray required safe in the knowledge it comes with the backing of a number of cleaning gurus.

The popular tip was shared online after someone struggling with grout stains took to a tip-swapping Facebook group looking for help.

"Any tips on cleaning grout in bathroom that has gone an orange colour? Tried bleach," read the post shared to Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips.

Thankfully, savvy users happened to have several relevant tips which they were happy to share.

Cillit Bang mould remover and Astonish mould spray were both popular recommendations. "Same thing happened to mine I used cilit bang for mould it all came out its brilliant!!" said one person.

A second wrote: "Cillit bang mould n mildew is great for tough staining on tiles."

Meanwhile, another advised: "Astonish mould and mildew. spray, leave, rinse. repeat if necessary."

The much-loved HG mould spray also emerged as a strong favourite.

Available for £5.50 from Wickes, commenters had lots to say about the popular product. One person even they said it works in as little as five minutes.

"I spray hg mould remover and leave for about 5 minutes then just rub over," wrote the fan.

Advising the post's author on which spray to opt for, a second said: "I'm a fan of everything Hg."

Someone replied: "Hg mould remover 100%" and another wrote: "hg mould killer is on another level!"

"HG Mould & Mildew spray is excellent," added a different commenter.

The spray is equally loved by TikTok users who have previously showed off the incredible difference it makes in their homes.

Take note it is advised to use rubber gloves and keep your room well ventilated when using the product on account of the strong smell.
