Former Disney cast workers has shared the biggest mistakes that guests to the Magic Kingdom make.

Tiffany D says that Disney land and world visitors often ask for "free stuff" or "magical moments" - something which she says is a bad move.

"Cast members are trained to observe and listen to all the guests, and when they see an opportunity for a magical moment, [they] make it happen [for the guests]," she told Insider.

"It really ruins the magic when it's forced or asked for."

As well as mistakenly thinking that if you don't ask you don't get, Tiffany says people let themselves get frustrated by the long queues, rather than expecting and accepting them.

Insider also spoke to Lara G who worked as part of Disney's International College Program in 2008 and 2009.

One thing that ground her gears while whipping up some Walt inspired magic was how often people asked when the daily 3pm parade would be.

They also regularly failed to listen to cast members and clear the road before the marching began, which can be a major disruption.

Lara G also condemned visitors to the park who failed to respect queues, accusing teenagers of being the biggest offenders.

Natalie O, a two-time Disney College Program graduate, said a lot of parents tried to help their children get around the park's safety rules.

"This ranged from padding their shoes so they would be the right height for a ride, to lying about their age if a ride had an age requirement to ride solo," she said.

She urged people not to do this as the rules are there for a reason and are designed to keep people safe.

Emily, a former cast member, said guests would often mess with their belts during the rides, which always leads to delays.

Jodie D urged people not to make rude gestures while on rides, as this means thrilling photos are often ruined for families who want to buy them.

It also stops Disney staff selling the pictures, as doing so is against the park's official ethos.

Whitney C said too many people try and camp in front of Cinderella Castle to watch the Magic Kingdom's firework display, which can cause staff difficult moving around.

She suggested that people watch from the back as there are fewer people and often the view is better.

Kirsi M urged people to stop filming the fireworks and parades as doing so can be distracting for people in the crowd behind them.

Another common social faux pas is committed by people who get too drunk in the parks, forgetting that they are family friendly environments.

Former cast member Rachel W said the combination of heat and alcohol ends up making people drunk and disorderly, which can see them kicked out of the parks.
