Diana, Princess of Wales was praised time and time again for raising her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, as normally as their circumstances would allow.

They went on day trips to theme parks in the UK and US, ate fast food, went on the bus and dressed like any normal children whenever possible.

The late royal's biographer, Andrew Morton, previously said: "She took the young royals with her on her private charity visits from a young age… One of the reasons was she didn't want the boys to grow up thinking the whole world was 4x4 Range Rovers, shotguns and nannies."

While Diana frequently took Prince William and Prince Harry to theme parks in the UK, she took them on a special trip to Disney World in 1993.

The royals, their group of friends and their security detail were pictured at the Florida amusement park on various rides.

From trips on Splash Mountain and visits to the Jim Henson Muppets Pavilion, the group appeared to be having the time of their lives.

Footage even emerged of a very shy Prince William taking part in the Hoop De Doo Pantomime while his mother smiled from the audience.

The rarely seen clip went down a storm with fans on TikTok and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.

One fan wrote: "This video is so lovely to see. You can see here the man he would become and the man Diana was hoping to help him be."

Another added: "He was so shy bless him how lovely to see him on stage Diana encouraged him I bet."

A third viewer agreed, saying: "Wow this is incredible footage....Just a normal kid having the best time. Bet this is a core memory for him."

A final person summed up: "When you see her ‘mom head tilt’, you know she’s smiling and loving seeing him do this."

In the 2017 ITV documentary 'Diana, Our Mother', Prince William spoke candidly about his mother's tragic and death and revealed how it has influenced who he is today.

He said: "It’ll either make or break you. And I wouldn’t let it break me, I wanted it to make me. I wanted her to be proud of the person I'd become. I didn't want her worried or her legacy to be, you know, that William and/or Harry were completely and utterly devastated by it."

Elsewhere in the interview, William opened up about stepping outside of Kensington Palace to greet the crowds, see the flowers and read the messages left for his mother. He said: "People wanted to grab us, to touch us.

"They were shouting, wailing, literally wailing at us, throwing flowers, and yelling, sobbing, breaking down, people fainted, collapsed. It was a very alien environment.

"I couldn’t understand why everyone wanted to cry as loud as they did and show such emotion as they did when they didn’t really know our mother. I did feel a bit protective at times about that.

"You didn’t even know her – why and how are you so upset? Now looking back, I have learnt to understand what it was she gave the world and what she gave a lot of people."
