A woman has claimed that she feels insecure about her breasts changing following an inappropriate comment made by her father-in-law. A breastfeeding mum admitted her concerns after her in-law told her she 'shouldn't breastfeed for too long'.

Taking to popular forum Reddit, the anonymous woman claimed that her partner's dad warned her that she'll be dumped if she doesn't stop breastfeeding as her 'breasts will get ugly'. Captioning the post, the upset mum admitted that she was taken aback by what was said, claiming: "Can't get over what father-in-law said."

She explained: "Long story short my father-in-law mentioned I shouldn't breastfeed too long."

The woman went on: "When my partner asked him why not he responded by saying my breast will get ugly and then my partner will leave me and that women don't breastfeed anymore.

"For some reason this struck a nerve, I'm not angry but already becoming pre-insecure about my potentially saggy breast

"I would love to continue breastfeeding but now I can't get over the fact that at 22 my breasts will never look the same.

"And I would just say f*** that guy but it could potentially be true.

"I don't know how to get over this feeling, or prevent the eventual sagging, and already thinking about getting a boob job after."

Since sharing her concerns, the woman's posted has raked in over 200 comments to date.

One person wrote: "Imagine if you had (or if you have) a daughter and someone said this to her when she's pregnant or with child. Love your body, love yourself. He can go f*** himself."

Meanwhile, a second wrote: "My breast did change after having my daughter. My nipples got bigger and darker, I went up a few sizes when breastfeeding, then they deflated and aren't perky like they used to be.

"BUT I've never had a guy say anything about them. My bf loves my boobs," they added.
