"Send them, Starmer!": Putin allies mock UK, France, and Germany over troop plans

A leading pro-Putin politician has mocked Sir Keir Starmer for seeking to be a “cool British prime minister” by considering sending troops to Ukraine as World War 3 tensions rise
British, French and German soldiers have been told they face defeat and death from Russia if they are sent as "peacekeepers” to end the war in Ukraine.
One leading Putin politician mocked Sir Keir Starmer for seeking to be a “cool British prime minister” by sending troops, warning: “It has been a long time since we fertilised the Crimean vineyards with [the corpses of] British officers. We are waiting, Starmer, the time has come.”
And a prominent Russian army general told President Emmanuel Macron he could gather a 50,000 “little frogs” multinational army, but they would be beaten by Putin’s forces, with Europe and NATO “ceasing to exist”. Moscow is vehemently opposed to the “boots on the ground” proposals of Starmer and Macron as part of a peace deal to offer security to Ukraine against another Putin invasion.
Dmitry Rogozin - a senator, former Putin deputy premier, and ex-head of the Russian Space Agency - said: “What did this Starmer say? More precisely, what did he want to say? It was like, I’m such a cool British Prime Minister, now I’ll gather my courage and send the royal army and navy to Russia.

“Send them, Starmer, don’t talk, send them! Don’t forget to give your Scots [soldiers] combat tartan skirts, so that our drones can easily fly in there and kick their spicy asses - [Rogozin was notoriously wounded in the bottom in a shell strike on his birthday party in Donetsk in 2022].
“Don’t ignore the glorious Irish with the blue plume on their hats, by which our snipers will be pleased to count them in the shabby Zaporizhzhia forest regiments. Don’t miss the moment to put grizzly fur hats on your brave English warriors, who are never dried out in your pubs. They will be very useful in the Donetsk trenches for feeding thousands of local mice. Come on, Starmer, blow your bagpipes, blow to us, brave warrior of the crazy king.”
Rogozin, 61, was previously in charge of tests on Putin’s monster Satan-2 or Sarmat missile - an apocalypse 208-ton intercontinental silo-launched 15,880mph nuclear hypersonic rocket designed to strike the West by flying over the North or South Poles, and later set up a drone detachment in the army.
He is now senator in the Russian parliament for an invaded region of Ukraine. Russian army Major-General Apti Alaudinov, 51, defied Donald Trump’s claim that Putin wants peace, declaring Moscow should be ready for full-scale mobilisation to field a military machine of two million soldiers to crush any attempt to put NATO member troops on Ukrainian soil.
“We’re ready to eat grass, drink from puddles, but we will fight to the end,” he said. "No matter what happens, no matter how things play out, Russia will win this war. No doubt about it. Right now, we’re at a point where either NATO falls apart, and we go on to finish off Europe.
“Or they stop bluffing, back down, and agree to whatever conditions are needed just to make peace with us. Either way, as a country, we have every chance of defeating a united Europe.”
They could gather a peacekeeping force, but the West was running out of weapons, he said. “Let’s say they gather their little frogs, 20–30,000 men. Hell, let’s say they manage 50,000. What makes them any better than the Ukrainians we’ve been fighting…? The Ukrainians had way more fight in them than any of these Western armies.
“More than the Americans, the French, the Germans put together. The Ukrainians’ spirit was on a whole different level compared to them. And yet, even now, Ukraine is losing.”
Maj-Gen Alaudinov urged people to ignore their “loudmouth” politicians threatening to send troops. "Have they still not figured it out? Russia can’t be beaten on the battlefield. Never in history has anyone managed to defeat Russia in open battle - and it won’t happen now. Because Russia is loved by God. Russia is protected by God.”

Alaudinov - close to Putin ally Ramzan Kadyrov, leader of Chechnya - said: “We should be ready to raise an army of, say, a couple of million.” This would put European armies “in a position from which they will never recover - never…If they do go for it, most of Europe as we know it will simply cease to exist. NATO will fall apart, one way or another, because America doesn’t actually need this war.
“They don’t want it. They’ll pull out of NATO and focus on their own economy, their own affairs. And without America’s military-industrial complex, Europe is nothing - absolutely nothing…. Sure, we have our flaws, our problems. But we are the most experienced military force in the world, and we are more prepared for modern warfare than anyone else.”
