Michael Conlan gets his second shot at a world title tonight as he challenges IBF titleholder Luis Alberto Lopez in Belfast.

Conlan, 31, came up short in his first world title fight against Leigh Wood last March as he was brutally knocked out in the final round despite being up on the scorecards. The Olympic bronze medalist has since won back-to-back fights in his hometown and he returns to the SSE Arena against Lopez.

Lopez, 29, captured his featherweight world title by winning a majority decision against Josh Warrington in Leeds last December. The Mexican is on a 10-fight winning streak dating back to four years ago and he makes his third appearance in the UK against Conlan. So here's all you need to know about tonight's world title fight...

What time is the Michael Conlan fight?

The undercard action will get underway earlier than most fight cards, starting at 4pm whilst the televised coverage on BT Sport begins at 6:30pm. Conlan and Lopez are expected to make their ring walks around 9pm with the fight getting underway shortly after, but this is subject to change depending on the results of the undercard.

Conlan : I'm really excited about Saturday night. Thank you to Luis for coming to Belfast he is very welcome here, but on Saturday night I will be champion. I've experienced a lot of atmospheres throughout my career and Saturday will be no different. I know he's changed trainers a few times throughout this training camp, so there's probably a few things going on with him."

Lopez : I'm used to this type of environment, this is my third time in the UK and I have beaten the other two guys I've fought here. Everybody wants to see me lose but I love to ruin plans, don't forget that I am the world champion. Every time they tell me I am going to lose and be knocked out, but at the end of the day I am used to this and I will take the victory."
