Dame Joan Collins, 89, joined Good Morning ahead of King Charles' Coronation on Friday as she opened up on the moment he presented her with a Damehood but ITV viewers couldn't help but comment on her appearance.

The iconic actress, who celebrates her 90th birthday later this month, looked stunning in a poppy emblazoned top with matching red lipstick and finished off the look with diamond earrings.

Joan wore her hair in a voluminous style and paired her look with her signature smokey eye makeup.

One viewer praised: "Joan looking good in her 90th year. #gmb," while another tweeted: "@GMBhow fantastic doe Joan Collins look at 89 years young."

Speaking about her Damehood, Joan told hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard: "How charming [Charles] was when he gave it to me. And you know, he has the most fantastic voice, very mellifluous and deep and he said, as he put on, 'And about time too.'"

"I'd met him a few times," she continued. "In fact, he wrote about me in his book he, I can't say what it is on morning TV because it's a bit naughty."

Joan explained when she met Charles once she was wearing a "very low cut dress".

"I think he's going to be a great king," the iconic actress said. "I think he's, he's certainly rehearsed enough," she said.

Ben mentioned the King's "love of acting" as he said: "I think one of the things we've seen from from The Crown is seeing the detection of younger Charles how much he enjoyed that side of life. Do you think he could have been a good actor?"

"I think he could have yes," Joan replied. "He certainly had the looks for it and I think that he would have been very good. Let's face it, the Royals have to do a lot of acting."
