A family now has five generations of females aged 19 months to 102 years.

Evelyn Perris joins a proud line of women in the clan headed by her great-great-grandmother Kathleen Green.

The 19-month-old tot is Emily Titmuss' first child.

In addition to 22-year-old Emily's great-gran, Kathleen, 102, she has been able to call on mum Wendy Titmuss, 56, and her gran Lynda Osbourne, 75, for support too.

When Kathleen was born back in October 1920, David Lloyd George was the Prime Minister and she has experienced a total of 25 PM's during her lifetime.

The family reside in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, and spend time with each other at least four days a week.

It includes trips to the hair salon, walks in the park and raising the new baby together as a family.

For such a close family the past three years have been rather difficult due to Covid restrictions.

But Evelyn arrived just in time as the rules were eased, and it means they can spend quality time together with the new addition.

Emily said "Lockdown was difficult not seeing each other as often but we're making the most of it now and spending as much time together as we can.

"As a family we see each other three or four times a week, this either involves just visiting each other's houses or my nan's salon which she still works in regularly.

"We will go out on walks together to the park as my great-nan is still so fit and healthy.

"At 102 years old she can still touch her toes which is very impressive."

Emily added: "My great-nan is extremely fit and able for her age.

"She continued hairdressing up until lockdown in 2020 so she would have been around 99 when she had to stop due to restrictions.

"She used to help out in a care home; doing up women's hair who were even younger than her.

"When I was younger I remember sitting in my nan's salon so often."

Emily - engaged to Albert - added: "We all love to be pampered, even including little Evelyn.

"That includes Evelyn, and we'll often take my great-nan to the salon at age 102 to have her hair curled.

"When we make a trip to the salon, Evelyn loves to sit with my nan and wears a perm hat like her."

Emily has received so much advice and support from her family as she starts her journey in motherhood.

She said "We're so blessed to be a five generation family and it is something we really treasure.

"Evelyn is so lucky to be born into this huge family, we're all out-going, bubbly, independent women and I know she'll be the same.

"I have received so much support from my family; parenting has changed so much over the years but they've given me so much advice which can be applied to every generation.

"My great-nan Kathleen has told me to do it my way, to make the most of motherhood and really enjoy it.

"Back in her day, parenting was so different for example children were potty trained so much earlier.

"However, I've really found that her advice has been something I can apply to my life now."
