Gérard Depardieu is facing more sexual abuse allegations, two years after French actress Charlotte Arnould waived her right to anonymity and claimed she had been raped by him.

The 74-year-old has strongly denied the allegations after a dossier claimed that he had preyed on his victims on several productions including the Netflix drama, Marseille.

A spokesperson for Gérard said: "He formally denies all the charges likely to fall under criminal law."

Just two years ago, Charlotte Arnould, 33, claimed she had been raped by Depardieu at his home in Paris.

The actress waived her right to anonymity in 2021 as she hit out over how long the investigation into her alleged attacker was taking.

Just several days after his indictment, he was believed to be working on the set of Maigret And The Dead Girl alongside Jade Labeste.

However, there is CCTV footage of Depardieu engaging in sexual activity with Charlotte taken in August 2018 but he strongly claims that consensual.

A report from the French outlet Médiapart reads: "Besides the complaint from Charlotte Arnould, we have gathered 13 accounts from women who say they were subjected to sexually inappropriate gestures or proposals by the famous actor, of differing levels of gravity

"Across the different accounts, the same scene seemed to repeat itself. They are actresses, make-up artists and crew members.

"They attest to have been subjected to a hand on their buttock, between the legs, or on their thighs or stomach – as well as obscene sexual propositions, and sometimes insistent groaning."

It's claimed that the incidents were "laughed off" and people said: "Oh, ok, it's just Gérard."

However, none of the 13 new complaints are currently filed as a legal complaints.

It's reported that the victims, some of which anonymously reported the claims believed that should they raise the issue, they may never work again.

The outlet adds that there are several similarities between the allegations, including the women being "young precarious" actresses at the start of their career while another is the well-known actor who can often ensure a film is financed.

Charlotte Arnould's case is currently making its way through courts in France after Depardieu's counsel had attempted to have charges overturned – this was overruled.
