Manchester United will be looking to extern their unbeaten run at Old Trafford to an impressive 24 matches when they welcome an Everton side looking to push further away from the relegation battle. The Toffees are currently level on points but a superior goal difference separates them and three other clubs as the relegation dogfight continues.

A midweek win against Brentford saw United return to the top four and look to extend their gap on Spurs who failed to secure a win at Goodison Park against Erik ten Hag's next opponents - the perfect situation after a disappointing outcome at St James' Park and the exact response the head coach was looking for.

The former Ajax boss will be looking for a similar performance and will be keen to avoid a slip-up against Sean Dyche's side when the two sides meet at the weekend. Bookies Betway has priced the visitors highly at 5/1 - understandable considering there is a 26-point gap between the two sides and are equal on points with West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth with the latter sitting in the relegation zone.

Betway's head of PR, Chad Yeomans, said: “Erik ten Hag’s men really needed the three points they took at home to Brentford on Wednesday evening, after a difficult spell of Premier League games that left a lot to be desired for a team chasing Champions League football next season.

“Manchester United fans will be expecting another winning performance on Saturday and the Red Devils are 8/15 to win with Sean Dyche’s men priced at 5/1 for an upset.

“Wout Weghorst has come under pressure for his lack of goals for United, but he does pose an aerial threat, so we’ve boosted him to 12/1 to score a header in the game.”

Weghorst has been a regular starter since joining Ten Hag's side in January after a promising loan spell at Besiktas where he scored eight goals in 16 league appearances for the Turkish side. But since joining the Premier League side from Burnley, he has only managed to score twice for the Red Devils in all competitions but none of them in the league, yet.
