Woman quits dating after finding bloke on Tinder with vile list of 'red flags'
Almost all of us have at least one dating horror story, but one woman's recent experience with trying to find love on Tinder has made her want to quit dating completely after she found a profile of a man that contained a long list of things he considers to be "red flags" - including feminism and being a "pet mum".
Jenny Bennett, 43, was left horrified when she stumbled across the profile of a 40-year-old man named Chris and found that his bio was full of vile comments about things that would make him refuse to date someone.
The union president said she didn't think Chris was "that cute" when she found his profile but decided to scroll through and read his bio anyway - which she later discovered was a huge mistake.

The man won't date feminists, pregnant women, or pet mums (Kennedy News and Media)Despite having very little information about himself on his profile, Chris has a huge list of expectations for anyone who wants to swipe right and give him a chance.
And while some of Chris' "red flags" are personal preferences, such as his decision to not date women with tattoos, others were more questionable, including his desire to not date any woman who considers themselves a feminist, or anyone who is pro-choice when it comes to abortion rights.

Chris has also confusingly banned "pronouns" from his dating pool and said he won't date anyone who is pregnant or a single mum.
Among the most disgusting of Chris' comments include his referral to plus-size women as "beached whales", LGBTQ+ allies as "rainbow sympathisers", and medication used for mental health reasons as "head meds" - all of which he sees as a "red flag".
And Jenny, from British Columbia, Canada, has said that if Chris' profile is the standard of her dating pool, then she'd rather just stay single.
She explained: "If this is all that's out there, I don't need that. It's a really shallow dating pool. Luckily I didn't meet that guy in the bar.
"[When I saw his profile] I didn't think much of it because honestly, it's pretty standard. He's not an exception. There are a lot of people like him that just expect perfection then they look like someone's foot.
"I'm getting quite used to Tinder now. Dating in your forties is terrible. I can't quite figure out why. I don't know if it's because we grew up with the internet and people expect perfection when in reality life is quite messy."
Jenny was most bothered by Chris' decision to ban those on mental health medication, as she said it showed that even people who are trying to "make themselves better" are a red flag in the bloke's eyes.
She added: "It said no pet mums, no head meds. That bothered me. You can't have a mental illness or want to make yourself better. I'm pretty confident but if I was feeling insecure and read that, I'd think 'maybe I shouldn't be on these meds'.
"He has a huge list of what he doesn't want - but doesn't put anything about how he is. There's nothing to say 'this is me and this is good about me'. It's all 'this is something you can't have'.
"He's obviously super right-wing and one of those people I would never be interested in. People are so quick to put roadblocks up with people instead of embracing it."

The woman shared the man's list with her friends and they were all "horrified" at what they saw - leading Jenny to decide to take another break from dating for a while.
She said: "I sent them the profile and said 'This is what I have to deal with. This is my dating pool now'. When I've shared it with friends, their reaction is horror.
"I moved from Vancouver to a smaller community about four years ago and it's eye-opening how different it is.
"I'm taking a break from dating for a minute. I'm quite content being alone, I own my own house, and have all my own stuff, but this was just a matter of having a companion."
