Paul Pogba finally made his second Juventus debut on Tuesday night following a nightmare start to his latest stint in Turin.

The France international enjoyed a stunning four-year spell with the Italian giants before returning to Manchester United, but he was lured back to Juventus in the summer after running down his deal at Old Trafford.

Pogba was a polarising figure during his second stint at United and left the club under a cloud after failing to make a significant impact during the six years he spent back in the Premier League. However, there doesn't appear to be any bad blood between the 29-year-old and his former United teammates if a message of support from Jadon Sancho is anything to go by.

The Manchester United winger reacted on social media as Pogba returned from his lengthy spell on the sidelines, sharing a post to his Instagram story with the caption: "PP is back!" complete with a heart emoji.

Marcus Rashford also sent a message of support to Pogba on the same platform after the playmaker made his first appearance in over 300 days in Juve's enthralling 4-2 win over Torino in Serie A.

Pogba's last competitive outing came back in April in Manchester United's chastening 4-0 defeat against Liverpool. A meniscus injury that he picked up in pre-season required surgery which had prevented him from featuring for Massimiliano Allegri's side until now.

A frustrated Allegri was unable to put a timeframe on Pogba's return when he was quizzed about the former United ace a fortnight ago, however, he was much happier after the midfielder came through a 20-minute cameo appearance unscathed.

Speaking about Pogba after the win over Torino, Allegri said: "He entered well, he played 25 minutes after a year without playing. Everyone entered well, in order to achieve results, everyone must be available to their teammates.

"Tonight we finished with [Adrien] Rabiot in front of the defence and Pogba as left midfielder. But there are many matches, substitutions are important and everyone must feel involved."

Former Manchester United target Adrien Rabiot was on the scoresheet as Allegri's side ran riot against their Serie A rivals after twice falling behind. Former Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado, Danilo and Gleison Bremer had all found the net before Rabiot killed the game off in the 80th minute.

Despite a positive result, Juventus are still miles off the top of the pace at the top of Serie A. Allegri's side are 12 points behind Inter Milan, who are joint-second on 47 points and a staggering 30 points behind runaway leaders Napoli.
