Kate Garraway tries on bum-enhancing knickers live on GMB in chaotic scenes
Good Morning Britain viewers were left entertained on Friday as the show took a cheeky turn.
During the latest episode, hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray spoke about M&S launching a new line of bum-boosting underwear designed to enhance the shape of your behind. At the start of the show, Kate, 56, held up a pair of padded pants, saying: "Just in case you're wondering, these are the padded pants! It is Friday, who doesn't want a padded bottom on their screens, first thing in the morning!"
Kate added looking at the pants: "I think this bottom looks quite small!", before revealing she was going to attempt to put them on later during the show. Kate declared: "I'm going to give it a go! I don't feel I need padding but I'm happy to give it a go for the purposes of this show."
Later on the episode, Kate stayed true to her word as she put the padded pants over her green trouser suit outfit. The presenter said: "I can't believe this!", adding: "I tell you what, it's super comfy! I might keep this on!" GMB also revealed the results of their vote, with 84% of people saying we should "just embrace the bodies we have" to which Adil quipped: "We finally got to the bottom of that!"
However, the padded pants also caused an awkward moment on the show as Kate and Adil spoke to guests, Iain Dale and Jacqui Smith, about the latest news and headlines, where chat got onto the underwear. Holding up a pair of the padded pants, Kate asked: "Would you wear these Iain?" to which Iain replied: "I have a perfectly pert a**e!"

A panicked Kate was quick to respond: "Don't say that word!" while Adil added: "You've said it twice!" A confused Iain was quick to ask: "Can we not say that?" with Kate explaining: "No, you can't! Say bottom!"
The segment then descended into chaos as the presenters and guests started laughing. Kate added: "God, what is going on! I am so sorry, so sorry if you're watching at home... I'm putting the padded pants away and saying: 'Thank you very much for your contribution!'"
