PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 announcement time and predictions

PS Plus subscribers are gearing up to find out which games will be included in this month's PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup, so here's exactly when you can find out, alongside a few predictions of our own.

PS Plus Subscribers are anxiously awaiting to see what games will be arriving for the Extra and Premium tiers this month, following the release of the surprisingly strong PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup (despite Hello Neighbour 2 taking up a slot). That batch dropped the absolute banger Sifu, as well as throwing in a Destiny 2 expansion as a little bonus, so hopes are high for the remaining games that Sony will offer PS4 and PS5 players this month.

For our predictions we're looking at which games featured in the PS Plus March 2023 lineup, and adding a year onto those. Three of the games in that batch – Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, and Ghostwire Tokyo – released over the first three months of 2022, so we're looking at the first three months of 2023.

Likely PS Plus contenders from this time period include Monster Hunter Rise (the PlayStation port of 2021's best game), Forspoken, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, and – the game you didn't play in 2023, but everyone who did tells you it was the best game of the year – Octopath Traveller 2. One other game released in the PS Plus March 2023 games was Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which had a PS5 upgrade release in January 2023, so we could see that make an appearance too.

PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 reveal time

The PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 reveal time will be 4.30pm GMT / 11:30pm EST / 8:30am PST onWednesday, March 13 which is when Sony will post about the games on the PlayStation Blog. As always PS Plus Extra and Premium titles will be revealed on the first Wednesday after the month’s first batch of games are released, so with the PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup now out, we'll be finding out which games are gracing PS Plus Extra and Premium with their presence this week.

The PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 games will release the following Tuesday, March 19. Unlike the PS Plus Essential games, the PS Plus Extra and Premium games will remain on the service for the forseeable future, so you don't need to rush to play all of the PS Plus Extra February 2024 games before the next batch launches.
