Liam Gallagher has finally revealed what it would take to reunite Oasis with his brother Noel - and it doesn't take much.

The 51 year old star who, following the band's split in 2009, has admitted that all he needs is a box of chocolates from his 56 year old brother Noel in order to rectify their lengthy feud. The musical duo spectacularly fell out at a festival in 2009, forcing Liam to throw a plumb at Noel before attempting to hit him with a guitar. In an interview Liam said he "loved" Noel but just needed him to admit that he had "been mean" to him. He went on to say: "He [Noel] knows I’m not going to call him."

He added: "He’s the one who split the band up, so he’ll be doing the calling, and if there is no calling we won’t be getting back together." Speaking to The Sun, he continued: "I love my brother, I love my family, and all that Oasis s***, there was no need for it… we didn’t have to split up over it. I don’t hold grudges, man, and if Oasis got back together it would be great because I would only have to sing 15 songs and he could do the rest. I could do that standing on me head."

However, it doesn't seem likely as Noel has described his brother as a "violent Fonz", in reference to the Happy Days character Fonzie, played by Harry Winkler between 1974 to 1984. Fonzie was a larger-than-life, leather-wearing cool guy, who was enamoured by the ladies but lacked any form of responsibility. He would rock around the area making the more sensible kids in the area feel as though he was the top dog in a comedic manner.

Noel once said: "He’s one of these guys, and they’re ten a penny, particularly up in Manchester, the bully, who when you put it on ‘em and say ‘Come on then, let’s see what you’ve got,’ start doing a lot of harrumphing." And while on the Jonathan Ross show recently, it seems as though Liam had to be relaxed when talking about a possible reunion.

When asked if their brother's relationship had been resolved, Liam hit back saying: "What do you mean? This is where you're gonna have a pop now aren't you?" To which Jonathan said: "No! No. Relax I'm not your brother alright?" The audience burst into laughter but Liam seemed less than impressed.

But if all else fails, it seems as though the former Oasis frontman has other opportunities including a collaboration with Stone Roses guitarist, John Squire. The pair first met while they were working on albums with their old bands in Monmouth, near Cardiff. And Liam asked John about his shoes, which he was enamoured with in the picture of the Stone Roses album.

Liam told a magazine: "I remember watching the video for the Roses’ Fool's Gold and thinking, ‘Squire’s got Vans on’. The black slip-on. That was a big moment. Get a pair of Vans, then.” Liam then sent his mate two pairs of handmade Portuguese tasselled moccasins to thank him for playing the Oasis hit Champagne Supernova at the gig. Liam has teamed up with Adidas to create the LG2 SPZL trainers. He also is a fan of Clarks’ LG Ramblers and its Wallabee and Desert Trek designs.
